THE PSYCHONAUT PLAYGROUND

October 1st-6th | Portugal

Set in the serene hills of Gouveia at Estrela Serenity, The Psychonaut Playground gathered a curated circle of explorers, researchers, artists, and facilitators for six days of immersive play and inquiry into the nature of consciousness. Each day unfolded as a living laboratory blending sommelier, guided journeys, movement and sound practices, neuroscience demonstrations, art installations, and ritual performance. Participants contributed to active field research while co-creating a deeply connected, consent-based community. From morning embodiment to evening ceremony, the Playground became both mirror and map for the evolving culture of inner exploration, closing with a shared sense of gratitude, insight, and renewed inspiration for the path ahead.

AUGMENTED WORLD EXPO

Extended Reality (VR/XR/AR) has always run in parallel with both the psychedelic movement and testing the limits of how we understand consciousness and “reality”. The extends to which XR can capture data and create experiences that support neuroscience research is a largely untouched frontier, but is rich with opportunity. That is why Sensoria is supporting our exceptional partners, GANTASMO, at the Augmented World Expo (AWE).

The duo is a genre-pushing AI-powered performance act merging generative music, immersive XR visuals, and novel research methods. They’ve created over 60,000 tracks using Suno, recognizing them as one of their most prolific and exciting artists. While there, GANTASMO will also be headlining the MIT × Meta sponsored Auggie Awards reception.

THE CONSCIOUSNESS CONCLAVE

April 2025 | Portugal

This was an invite-only event with 62 of the most experienced psychonauts and thought leaders in the psychedelic space to create the framework for a new type of event shaping what "research in the wild" can look like in a safe, legal, celebratory container.

Researchers, influencers, and everyday explorers gathered for this 5-day microfestival featuring workshops, live demonstrations, ceremonies, performances, and dance parties. Researchers gathered more than 300 pages of neurophenomenological data leveraging AI, biosensors, and structured experiments to start creating a map of the human mind, and how different compounds interact with it.

ART BASEL MIAMI

December 2024 | Miami, Florida

Sensoria hosted an exclusive series of three intimate gatherings during Art Basel Miami 2024. These invitation-only events brought together visionary artists, consciousness researchers, and cultural innovators to explore the profound relationship between altered states and creative expression.

This pioneering event established Sensoria's presence within the art world while gathering valuable phenomenological data on the relationship between aesthetic experience and consciousness states.
