Cody Gibbons is a professional pioneer, he is experienced in navigating burgeoning industries spanning the fields biochemistry, blockchain, and consciousness research. He demonstrated leadership early on, achieving national and international accolades in academic competitions during his school years. His career began in high school, where he mastered Microsoft Excel, delved into Bitcoin, and entered the tech industry through cyber security consulting.
In college, Cody entered the legal medical cannabis industry, enhancing his expertise in plant biochemistry while consulting on Bitcoin and blockchain. His career advanced as he founded several companies, developed medical products at Kanabo, and created plant-based supplements at Kio Labs. In 2020, he co-founded Undercurrent, a cybersecurity firm. His latest projects focus on designing events to collect data on psychoactive substances, contributing to his extensive work in plant and brain biochemistry, psychopharmacology, and sustainable technology development.
Nick Synodis is a systems thinker, strategist, and builder of ideas that bridge technology, creativity, and human connection. With a foundation in mathematics, probability, and AI, he has spent his career designing scalable systems—whether in education, medical technology, or blockchain—that empower people and drive meaningful progress.
From pioneering early machine-learning applications in test preparation to developing governance models for medical device companies, his work is rooted in a belief that progress comes not from hierarchy, but from collaboration, continuous learning, and the alignment of values.
At the intersection of technology and culture, Nick's work extends beyond structured systems into the creative realm—leading initiatives at the forefront of digital art, immersive entertainment, and decentralized community-building. As a champion of human-centered design, he has shaped global creative brands, hosted immersive events that merge AI, art, and blockchain, and cultivated spaces where innovation flourishes organically.
Through all of this, his focus remains the same: to build with integrity, to create systems that serve people, and to ensure that the future is not dictated from the top down, but built together.
Leo is a neuroscientist, theorist, and artist with expertise in multimodal neuroimaging and neuromodulation, multivariate analysis, experimental design, experience design, long exposure photography, and psychedelic punk. His work focuses on rigorously modeling, studying and scaling constructs important for human flourishing and consciousness, including multiscale accounts of trust, neurobiological models of human and non-human empathy, and recently, the neurocomputational mechanisms underlying transformative, non-ordinary experience.
He received his B.S. in Psychology with a Philosophy minor from Duke University in 2007, and completed his Ph.D. in Neuroscience at UCLA in 2015, under the mentorship of Marco Lacoboni. He has collaborated with some of the foremost philosophers and neuroscientists in the world, including Owen Flanagan, Dale Purves, Paul Thompson, Antonio Damasio, and Leonard Schilbach, and has received funding from the Templeton World Charity Foundation, Tiny Blue Dot Foundation, and National Institute of Mental Health. His work has been published in Nature, Science Robotics, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews. He currently serves as a senior scientist at the Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies, where he is Primary Investigator on the “Emulating Entheogens to Enhance Empathy (E4)” Project, as well as Co-PI on a newly inaugurated research program on Bio-inspired AI Alignment.
